Wild Wild West
This was taken in the west, I think near Yellowstone Park but I can't remember.

I kept going back and forth over what I wanted to do with this image. I really wanted to turn it into a mystical scene, and probably will do that later. I thought about turning it into a snow scene, but everything was already blended so much, I couldn't blend it the way I wanted to without spending a lot more time on it.
My next few posts will be past graphic design projects I did because I am giving my portfolio a complete make-over. The projects I post on here will be the ones that won't make it on to the new site. I'm also re-branding myself and designed the logo today!
I think branding myself has been one of the harder things to do. Everybody has an opinion and my personal logo is one where I simply have not been able to get everyone to agree. That's pretty typical in general, but most of my projects have had a majority vote. I think that when self-branding, though, you have to go with what you like. You have to be happy with it. You're your own client. It's weird. So I've gone through a few transitions with my logo. My current logo is alright, but it wasn't the initial concept and I finished it this way for graduation, not because that's how I liked it. This time, I did it my way.

If you've lasted this far down this post, I will give you a little sneak peak of what's to come. I'm not fully satisfied with this yet, so it's still a work-in-progress. I'm really excited about what it'll become, though!
