Butterfly Chrysalis

My Christmas gift from nature was a photo op with a chrysalis!  The first photo is from two days ago and the second is from today.  I went to see if any changes had occurred, and sure enough, the little yellow specks had turned shiny.  Now it is looking bejeweled!

Apparently, the little fellow decided a wood backdrop would be nice for the photo shoot.  The raw files were edited in Affinity Photo.
